Re: Separate reply-to email address for auto emails
Hi, we're a small/medium sized business and we've really liked using Smartsheet's email notification feature for communicating with all our stakeholders. The problem is that although I'm the one who sets up the sheets (i.e. sheet owner), the responsibility for answering stakeholder concerns is with a different role.
There really needs to be a way for Smartsheet users to designate a different reply-to address for these email notifications so that we can redirect the replies to a DoNotReply@OurDomain.com address.
Re: Separate reply-to email address for auto emails
I'm currently the owner of several smartsheets as I maintain the Automations/help troubleshoot issues etc..
However, if the business unit has automations that go out to teammates, if they hit reply instead of opening the Update request , it comes back to me as the sheet owner and I wouldn't be able to assist if it is specific to the business unit (which it would be).
It would be nice to be able to set the Reply address per sheet so you can have a shared mailbox that would receive the replies and the business could take it from there.

Re: Separate reply-to email address for auto emails
Let us assign the reply-to person. When a user receives an automated email with instructions, we want them to follow the instructions instead of just clicking reply and giving the problem to whoever created the sheet. This is not a big ask but a basic expectation.

Re: Third option for Approval Workflows
Hi Team,
When using the built in approval flow, it only allows two buttons to be viewed. You can setup a new column with a dropdown and have more than two options that can be used (e.g. Approve, Declined, Defferred, Needs more Information), but in the approval flow you can only pick two of those four options. Please enable more than one button to be used! Thanks!

Partner with FiveTran to build a Smartsheet grid connector
I've used client-based BI tools to extract Smartsheet data via ODBC, but there do not seem to be many (any?) delivered cloud-based solutions. I'm not too interested in programming and maintaining anything myself with the APIs. FiveTran is one of the market leaders and does this for a living. I'd love to see a team-up to build a connector for easy grid extraction and loading into our data warehouse. With an option for full-sheet loading (purge & replace) or leveraging the sheets special modified date column for change data capture.

I need something different than the update request
I use Smartsheet to process requests and want to be able to send back a message, some information in columns and an attachment. I use update request, but don't really need an update.
I also wish the message box was a little easier to work with. It's pretty small and I usually have to scroll to type in a complete message.
Also could there be built in instructions that accompany the email sent through automation? Like click on the blue open to see the next instruction.

Re: Dashboard Help- COUNTIFS, Checkboxes and Hierarchy
There are two ways to do this, the formula illustrated by @AngB789 above, or if you are uncomfortable with formulas, you can also always set up a report that pulls from this sheet like so:
- Generate new row report (I usually have mine in a folder labeled "Charts"
- Select this sheet as the source sheet
- Select the "Closed?" column in columns
- Filter the "Level" column to equals 2
- Group the report by "Closed?" and collapse the group (bottom left of the group dropdown)
- Count the "Closed?" column under summary
- Select this report when generating a new pie chart
This option is also better if you want to select the pie chart (option when clicked open source), and see what row falls in each category of the pie chart; however if you are comfortable with formulas and don't really care about what row pertains to the pie wedge, I suggest going with AngB's way and create a collapsible summary row at the top for charts.
Edit to add as I just saw your additional comment, you can add/change the filters to make sure it contains only rows that are under specific primary columns (whether that is determined by an additional column with dropdown tags or if primary CONTAINS certain phrases)

Folders within row attachments
Sometimes a job has many different types of documentation, it would be nice to not have everything all jumbled together just because it pertains to the same row (job). Organization within each Rows attachments.

Relationships between tables
I would like to be able to create relationships (parent/child, 1:N, 1:1, N:1) so say for example 1 employee registered on table A could have multiple assignments in Table B

Re: Enable Document Generation into Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or HTML
Hi @Mounika -- I'm sorry, but I can't help you. My post above is a request for an enhancement to Smartsheet to enable to do what you are asking for.
